Jessica is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, Jessica spent four years with Deloitte Consulting advising Fortune 500 companies on their market, channel, and customer growth strategies. Most of her experience lies in the consumer products and healthcare industries.
Jessica received a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
Rob is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and Co-Chair of the 23rd Annual CBS Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference. Rob spent his summer working at McCourt Global Properties, a real estate private equity fund focused on development in tier one global cities. Prior to Columbia, Rob spent three years as a portfolio manager and analyst at Frere Hall Capital Management in London, a commodities hedge fund focusing on the global energy markets. Prior to Frere Hall, Rob was a commodities analyst at Hess Energy Trading Company in New York, the physical trading arm of Amerada Hess Corporation.
Rob graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy (with Honors) and History from the University of Virginia.
Brett is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Brett was a Senior Associate at Insight Equity, a middle market private equity firm, where he was responsible for leading diligence efforts on investment opportunities and successfully closed several transactions. He was also heavily involved with three portfolio companies, helping them execute on varied growth initiatives. Prior to joining Insight Equity, Brett was an Associate with Court Square Capital Partners. While at Court Square, Brett executed middle market private equity transactions including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and portfolio add-ons across a variety of industries.
Brett started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst with Bank of America in their Financial Services Group, where he focused on advisory work and financing solutions in transactions including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and initial public offerings for the portfolio companies of private equity firms across all industries.
Brett also served as President of Kanjy, a start-up business services platform for writers where he was responsible for operations, strategy and business development.
Brett graduated cum laude from University of Pennsylvania with a BSE in Engineering.
Clayton is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. He also currently leads strategy and business development for Datacor, an enterprise business management software company. Prior to Columbia, Clayton spent three years as an Associate at TA Associates, a Global Growth Private Equity Firm. At TA Clayton focused on investments in the Technology sector. Prior to TA Clayton was an Analyst in the Diversified Industries group in J.P. Morgan’s investment bank.
Clayton graduated from Princeton University with a BA in History.

Yordanka is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Before Columbia, Yordanka was a Head of Finance for a NYC technology start-up, featured by Fortune, where she helped raise over $4M through investor negotiations, due diligence and deal execution.
Prior to that, Yordanka held various positions in business development at Copal/ Moody’s Corporation, and media, technology & telecommunications investment banking at Credit Suisse and Lazard Freres, where she advised public and private companies on M&A and restructuring transactions.
Yordanka is passionate about discovering and building new ventures in the technology and media industry.
Yordanka holds a Msc in Corporate Finance and a Bsc in Financial Economics (both with distinction) from Universitet van Amsterdam.

While at Perella Weinberg Partners Asset Based Value Strategy, David focused on opportunities in the specialty finance and real estate sectors.

Before CBS, Tullio was an associate at the growth equity firm ABS Capital Partners where he was a member of the technology investment team. Tullio started his career in investment banking at GCA Savvian and Merrill Lynch. Tullio received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Frederico is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to the MBA, he founded a tech company in Brazil and, after 4 years, sold it to a larger internet group. His main responsibilities were building the business model, managing the commercial team and the administrative area. Frederico also interned with Athena Capital, an asset management firm focused on long only equity strategies. Frederico earned his BBA from the Federal University of Paraná State in Brazil.

Kevin is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Kevin spent three years at the Special Situations Group in Goldman Sachs doing middle market private equity. Prior to that, Kevin worked for Fidelity Investment analyzing fixed income instruments issued by insurance, healthcare, and pharmaceutical companies. He is a CFA charter holder. Kevin received his B.A. from Yale University.

David Taylor is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and the Vice President of Speakers for the Real Estate Panel. David studies real estate, finance, and economics at Columbia, and spent his summer with Savanna Real Estate Fund in Acquisitions and Asset Management. Prior to Columbia, David was a management consultant in New York, where he advised retail, industrial, and private equity clients. David earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Prior to business school, Greg Pearson spent four years working in commercial real estate. He graduated from USC in 2012 with a degree in Real Estate Development & Finance. Immediately after graduation, Greg took a job at a middle market investment bank doing buy-side advisory, and restructuring. After working on the Blackstone acquisition of Indcor, an industrial platform, he was recruited by CBRE Capital Markets to work on their industrial platform. Having transacted over $20 billion of industrial platforms, Greg has an expertise in distribution and warehousing.
Alan is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to business school, Alan was a Manager in PwC’s Deals Advisory Practice, where he performed transaction due diligence and related services for both private equity and corporate clients across a diverse industry set. Alan holds leadership roles in multiple business school clubs including the Nonprofit Board Leadership Program, the Government and Business Club, and the Micro-Brew Society. He is also on the junior board of Urban Pathways, Inc. and on the board of Daytime Moon Creations, Inc.
Alan received his BS from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Femie is a second year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Before CBS, Femie was the International Development Manager at Enplan Group, a Civil engineering consultancy specializing in rural area infrastructure development. Her main responsibilities included coordinating consultants and global experts that provided consultancy services to multinational organizations, such as the World Bank, as well as local businesses, which resulted in the team sourcing $4.65MM of projects.
Femie received a B.A. in Psychology (with distinction) at the University of Alberta in Canada.
Alex is a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, he spent four years working in the Industrials Coverage group at BMO Capital Markets. He worked on a variety of middle market M&A and debt/equity financing transactions for corporate and private equity clients. Jarrod is a first year MBA student Columbia Business School. Before business school, Jarrod was an Associate at Webster Capital, a private equity firm that invests in consumer branded products and healthcare services businesses. While at Webster, Jarrod evaluated, negotiated, and executed transactions in a variety of healthcare segments, including primary care, substance abuse, specialty pharmacy, and pediatric dentistry.
Prior to Webster, Jarrod was a Consultant at Newton Strategy Group, a generalist boutique consulting firm that served private equity clients. While at Newton, Jarrod led dozens of diligence and strategy engagements across a wide range of industries, including personal health products, automotive / transportation, staffing, and software.
Jarrod holds a B.S. and an M.S in quantitative economics from Tufts University.

Lloyd is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to attending Columbia, Lloyd spent five years with Perella Weinberg Partners (“PWP”), a global asset manager and investment bank, in both investing and advisory roles. From 2013 to 2016, Lloyd served as a Private Equity Associate for PWP Growth Equity, a $600 MM growth equity fund, where he worked on executing new investments and managing portfolio companies across the industrial, business services and consumer/retail sectors. From 2011 to 2013, Lloyd served as an Investment Banking Analyst for PWP, where he worked on a variety of M&A transactions for public and private corporate clients across several industries.
Lloyd earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis.

From 2014 to 2016, Rohit was an Associate at Baring Private Equity Asia, amongst Asia’s largest private equity firms with AUM of over US$ 10 billion, and focused on managing portfolio companies and sourcing / executing new investments across sectors. Prior to Baring, Rohit was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays, in the Corporate Finance and M&A team, working on a variety of M&A and equity / debt financing transactions for corporate and private equity clients.

Nick is currently a first year MBA student at Columbia Business School. He began his career at Citi in 2010 within the TMT Investment Banking franchise. In 2013, Nick joined the private equity division of The Olayan Group, a privately-held multinational enterprise. At Olayan, Nick pursued new deal originations in companies across a diverse set of industries and strategies in the Americas. Outside of work, he is an avid traveler and tennis player. Nick is a graduate of Georgetown University where he double majored in economics and history.
Nick is a first year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Nick was a Principal at Brand Value Advisors, a boutique marketing consulting firm serving mid-market private equity firms and their portfolio companies. In that role, Nick led numerous engagements conducting due diligence for funds investing in consumer verticals and advised portfolio management teams in categories including CPG, retail, technology, and transportation.

Sebastian is a first year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Before business school, Sebastian worked at Nexus Group, a private equity firm with $1 billion in assets under management that invests in Central and South America. While at Nexus, Sebastian evaluated, negotiated, and executed transactions in a variety of industries including consumer retail, industrials/soft drinks, education and healthcare.
Prior to Nexus, Sebastian was an analyst at Credicorp Capital, an investment banking firm with offices across South America. While at Credicorp Capital, Sebastian analyzed and led several transactions for private and public debt structuring.

Jordan is currently a first-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to attending Columbia, he was an Associate with the Hedge Fund Solutions team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Jordan was involved in client strategy, research, and product development and was focused on building out the group’s liquid alternative strategies. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Jordan was an Associate Consultant with Orion Consultants, a management consulting firm focused on financial institutions. Jordan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in International Relations.
Amit is a first year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Amit was an investment professional at Siris Capital, a New York-based PE firm with $2.4 billion in AUM focused on making control investments in data, telecommunications, technology and technology-enabled business service companies. At Siris, he worked on the take-private of TNS (NYSE: TNSI), the acquisition of Stratus Technologies and the carve-out realization of Pulse Secure from Juniper Systems (NYSE: JNPR). Prior to Siris, Amit was an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Healthcare group. Amit holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University.
Emily is a first year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Emily spent four years in Hong Kong working as a Merchandise Manager at Duty Free Shoppers. Her focus categories were spirits, wine, and champagne, and responsibilities included global P&L management, product strategy, and operations oversight. Emily received a B.A. in Economics at Colorado College.
